Daniel Jacobs has vowed to expose the mistakes of Gennady Golovkin after they finally consented to a world title unification fight next year.

Following prolonged negotiations, the unbeaten Kazakh, Golovkin took to his Twitter page to announce that he will fight Jacobs at Madison Square Garden in New York on March 18, with the IBF middleweight, WBA ‘super’, and WBC belts at stake.

Golovkin holds an intimidating record of 33 knockouts in his 36 wins; however, his American opponent insists he has spotted several flaws in ‘GGG.’

Jacobs told Boxingtalk.com that he would ensure to bring his best to the table because he has definitely seen a number of weaknesses in his games and would capitalize on that gap in Golovkin’s games.

He said: “Obviously, there are risks to that because of his power, but this is boxing where anything can happen. We’ve to play our cards right; we have to adjust when due, and we have to execute the game plan.

“It’s the basics. He doesn’t really have a great defense, and my speed enables me to elude a lot of punches, my power allows me to hurt guys.”

“Throughout my whole life I’ve always been an underdog, coming from where I come from, being raised in the conditions I was raised in, overcoming what I’ve had to overcome; my life has been full of challenges. This is the peak of my career as far as challenges are concerned, and I couldn’t be happier because I feel like it’s happening at the perfect time,” he said.
